When you think about Las Vegas you picture bright lights, big city and out of this world entertainment. While Las Vegas offers many mxl tv and experiences that are not considered family friendly you will be glad to know there are some shows that offer excitement and entertainment for everyone in the family. This is also a great guide when looking for more show and less extreme entertainment options when in Las Vegas.
The Mirage offers family friendly entertainment for ages 5 and up with Terry Fator and his 7 unique puppets. This show offers laughs, singing, masterful impressions, and ventriloquism. This show has no nudity, runs for approximately 90 minutes and is dark Sunday and Monday nights. The show is live Tuesday through Saturday at 7 pm. After the show be sure to stick around for the Volcano show in the front of the Casino. This runs nightly on the hour from 7 pm until 11 pm and offers spectacular FREE family fun.
Luxor offers the best in dancing entertainment on the strip with the dance crew the Jabbawockeez winners of “Americas Best Dance Crew” or “ABDC” as mega fans call it. If you are not an ABDC super fan the Jabbawockeez mask their face and wear gloves, which draws attention to their fantastic ability to interpret music through dance. This show is for ages 5 and up, there is no nudity, and offers a soundtrack to entertain all the ages. The show is open Sunday, Monday and Thursday at 7 pm and Friday and Saturday 7 pm and 9 pm. The show is dark Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mystère by Cirque du Soleil is Treasure Island’s contribution to the list with what has been described as a visual treat with colors that explode before your eyes. This show is world-renowned and will offer something for even the pickiest member of your troop. This show has a cast of 75 international dancers, singers, and acrobats. There is no nudity, the show runs 90 minutes, and the show plays Friday-Tuesday with shows at 7:30 and 10:30. After the show swing by outside of the Treasure Island strip side and take in the FREE Sirens show. This show’s schedule varies based on season for showtimes so check Treasure Islands website before your visit.
The Monte Carlo offers viewers a wild and outrageous experience with The Blue Man Group. This show offers comedy, music and a multi-media experience. Though this show is described most commonly as “hard to describe” it is an experience you will not soon forget. This show has no nudity, runs 90 minutes and showtimes can be secured through the Monte Carlo box office.
One family friendly show that offers you dinner and entertainment is located at Excalibur. Tournament of Kings dinner show offers a meal with a side of entertainment. This medieval style dinner you eat with your hands and is sure to be a winner for the whole family. Drinks are served in the theater with pictures taken before the show and meal, which are available for purchase after the show. Your section will pair up with a knight for this dinner adventure and cheer him on through the tournament. Will your section be the winner? This show is dark on Tuesday and runs at 6 pm and 8:30 pm Wednesday through Monday.
No matter what your family prefers there is probably a show in Las Vegas that will satisfy you. If your travels to Las Vegas include your family, do yourselves a favor and see a show you can all enjoy together. There can be sporadic dark days for each show so it is best that you check the shows schedule when you are planning your trip. I have personally taken on Las Vegas with all 7 of my kids plus 1 so I know you can do it and have a great time. There is plenty to do in Las Vegas to entertain all ages and interests.
